Privacy Policy
How I look after the information you share with me.
Last updated: 10 June 2026
This site (simonhuss.com) is run by me, Simon Huss, a coach based in the United Kingdom. I am the data controller for any personal information you share through this site. I take your privacy seriously, and I keep the information you give me to the minimum I need. This policy explains what I collect, why, and what rights you have under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What I collect
I only collect personal data when you choose to send it to me through the enquiry form on the Work With Me page. That is your name, your email address, and whatever you write in your message.
I do not run advertising, and I do not build profiles of visitors. The site uses a privacy-friendly analytics tool that counts page visits without cookies and without storing information that identifies you personally.
Why I collect it, and my lawful basis
I use the details from the enquiry form for one purpose only: to reply to you and arrange a free interest call. The lawful basis for this is your consent (you choose to contact me) and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about my coaching. I will never add you to a marketing list, sell your details, or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
Who else handles your data
To run the site and reply to you, I rely on a few trusted services that may process your data on my behalf:
- Formspree receives the enquiry form and passes your message to my email inbox. See the Formspree privacy policy.
- Email (Google) holds your message once it reaches my inbox, so that I can read and reply to it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, they are covered by appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries no longer than I need them. If we do not end up working together, I delete your enquiry once our conversation has clearly come to an end. If we do work together, I keep what I need for our coaching relationship and for as long as the law requires, and no longer.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask me to:
- see a copy of the personal data I hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- delete your data, or
- stop or limit how I use it.
To exercise any of these, or if you have a question about your data, email me at explore@simonhuss.com and I will sort it out. If you are not happy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your data, I will update this page and the date at the top. If you have any questions, please get in touch at explore@simonhuss.com.
